QURBANI Program

Eid-ul-Adha commemorates the staunch belief of Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) in sacrificing his own son's life in the way of Allah. Hazrat Ibrahim, dreamed that Allah ordered him to sacrifice his only son, Ismail and as an act of obedience and his faith in Allah, he was willing to sacrifice his 13-year-old son. But, before Ibrahim could sacrifice his son, Allah intervened by sending Angel Jibreel (Gabriel), who then replaced his son with a ram

Qurbani is not only the practice of sacrificing a livestock animal in the name of Allah, but also to draw us closer to Allah. Quran 5:27 - And recite to them the story of Adam's two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to Allah ], and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said [the latter], "I will surely kill you." Said [the former], "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him])

PakAID realises the gravity of the situation and has promoted and implemented Qurbani meat distribution activity every year since 2019. It is one of our most important seasonal programs where we have benefitted more than xyz number of people. We prioritize widows, orphans and the needy families of daily wagers and laborers so that they can have their share in the festivity without having the need to feel excluded from the festivities. Each muslim has the right to celebrate eid happily and PakAID ensures smiles and joy is spread among the disadvantaged communities during this time.
